The Château des Bachelards vineyard was created by the Benedictine monks of Cluny around 1100. Today, it extends over 12 hectares, all of which are farmed organically and biodynamically, in keeping with this monastic heritage. The absence of chemicals in the soil for 16 years and the use of biodynamic practices allow the terroirs to express themselves fully in the wines of Les Bachelards.

Pâquerette is a cuvée produced from a selection of plots in the Fleurie cru. These young vines are completing their conversion to organic and biodynamic farming. They are vinified separately in a fruitier, airier style than our old vines. The wine is juicy, with hints of red fruit and a delicious, fresh flavour.
