Caisse Panachée des Bachelards

The Château des Bachelards vineyard was created by the Benedictine monks of Cluny around 1100. The wine of Bachelards is part of this culture of intuition and observation. Twice certified in organic and biodynamic viticulture, the Château is a forerunner in its appellation in many respects: agroforestry in the vines, a permaculture vegetable garden, naturally-occurring bees, herbalism, high trellising with acacia stakes, low yields and very old vines planted with massal. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates, the wine is received by gravity, only indigenous yeasts are used and the wine is deliberately aged for a long time... A heritage simply reinterpreted with certainty, because the monks were never wrong!
