Bouteille de vin rouge d'exception du Beaujolais. AOC Fleurie "Clos des Bachelards"

FLEURIE - Le Clos des Bachelards - Monopole

Our Fleurie "Clos des Bachelards" is the ultimate expression of Gamay in Fleurie. Made from very old vines aged between 70 and 100 years using massal selection, this wine reveals the singularity of its unique terroir of pink granite, feldspar, marl and blue clay.
Aged for 18 months in tuns, Le Clos has a deep, almost black colour, with aromas of restrained power that gradually reveal notes of violet and peony.

On the attack, the wine is characterised by its volume and great finesse, with silky, chiselled tannins. The mid-palate is incredibly deep yet very fine, with exceptional length and an interminable finish. It will keep for decades.

FLEURIE

Produced from very old vines under massal selection grown at high density.
Its dark garnet-red colour is brilliant. Its very elegant nose develops a fine palette of finely spiced peonies and violets. This is a floral wine with great elegance on the palate. It is complex, dense and long, relatively firm with very pure notes of fresh blackberry. The whole is airy, without the slightest hint of rusticity. Its great silkiness means it can be drunk now.
