In an article about the festival Welcome to Beaujonomie, La Revue du Vin de France highlights this not-to-be-missed Beaujolais event, which each year opens the doors of the vineyards to the general public for a weekend of conviviality and sharing. For this sixth edition, the festival takes place from 13 to 15 June and brings together numerous estates, wine cellars and wine houses throughout the region.
The programme includes walks through the vineyards, tastings, concerts and meals at the heart of the estates, giving visitors the chance to discover Beaujolais as much in the glass as on the plate. Among the participating venues, the Château des Bachelards will be welcoming visitors to a gastronomic feast, «Un Festin», illustrating the spirit of Beaujonomie: an encounter between wine, cuisine and the art of living, as close as possible to the winegrowers and their terroirs.
