Small Flower 2020

The Château des Bachelards vineyard was created by the Benedictine monks of Cluny around 1100. Today, it extends over 12 hectares, all of which are farmed organically and biodynamically, in keeping with this monastic heritage. The absence of chemicals in the soil for 16 years and the use of biodynamic practices allow the terroirs to express themselves fully in the wines of Les Bachelards.

Petite Fleur is a wine made from our Beaujolais Villages plots which border Fleurie. The terroir is silty sand on a very old bedrock of pink granite. Petite Fleur is matured in concrete vats to preserve its freshness and incomparable fruitiness. The wine is both a bouquet of flowers and a basket of fresh fruit.
